Wewe got to Maine, we knew the pinnacle of the trip was going to be climbing one of those cliffs that face the Atlantic Ocean. What a rush, that stuff you only see in the movies. We rode into Acadia and took a look at Otter Cliff.
So, we headed back to camp to do some research, and found a couple cliffs in the Great Head area. Andy and I headed out to do some recon.
We found a cliff just under 100', right on the ocean, that looked like a really tough but doable climb. Game ON!
The next day, we woke up, did a small hike and some slack lining at the camp, then packed and headed out for the climb.
We got to the cliff, and set up the anchors, and took a look up.... It looked a lot bigger today than it did yesterday. Mary Jo did a great job taking many pics and vids, here are a couple pics.
What a day. I feel like my life is complete :)
