We stayed a night at Thousand Trails Bear Cave in Michigan on the way to Thousand Trails Yukon Trails Campground in Lynden Station, just north of the Wisconsin Dells. I have to say, Yukon Trails is our favorite campground yet. There was a lot to do, and the owner, Ralph, was really active and accommodating. Ralph actually stopped by in his golf cart about an hour after we checked in to make sure everything was fine. WOW!!! Customer Service 101.
On Saturday morning, Ralph and team put on a family oriented 2K walk around the park, complete with complimentary water and doughnuts that was a really good time.
An interesting note, there is an old UltraLight airstrip on one end of the campground. It was a perfect place to fly my RC helis.
